Scandinavian Winter Camp 2027
Dear Shihan, Sensei, Senpai and IKO Members, OSU!
IKO Norway and IKO Sweden are pleased to present the 4th Scandinavian Winter Camp (2027) held on January 22 – 24, 2027 in Uppsala, Sweden.
The Winter Camp will be led by Shihan Shin Ito 伊藤慎 師範, 5th Dan, Branch Chief of Gifu Branch IKO Kyokushinkaikan and Chairman of IKO Technical Committee.
The total cost of the camp will be approximately 260€, including Camp Fee; Hotel; Dinner on Friday; Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner on Saturday; and Breakfast on Sunday.
The following is a breakdown of the cost for the camp:
165€ (1800 SEK) – Camp fee and all meals (Friday night dinner, Saturday lunch and Sayonara Dinner) – payable to IKO Sweden
95€ (1050 SEK) – Hotel for 2 nights (based on double occupancy) – book/pay directly with hotel
Uppsala is Sweden’s 4th largest city, and the ancient capital during the Viking era. The largest cathedral and the oldest university in Scandinavia are both located here. Uppsala is located 30km from Stockholm- Arlanda Airport, Stockholm’s main airport, and accessible by bus 10€, train 15€, Uber/Bolt 45€ or taxi 60€.
We have selected Botanika Hotell in Uppsala at Skolgatan 45, 75332 Uppsala as our official hotel, due to its location in the city center and also proximity to the training hall at Fyrisskolan.
Please kindly book hotel room for yourself/group. We have secured a discounted rate for the training camp – 2100 SEK (190€) per room for 2 nights (for 2 people). Breakfast is included, with checkout at 11.00. Payment is only due upon arrival. Please book as soon as possible, as there are only limited number of rooms!

A more detailed schedule will be provided prior to the start of the camp. However, to facilitate trip planning, the first training will be at 18.00 on Friday, and the final training will end at 10.15 on Sunday.
